Platform ladders operate similarly to a step ladder but provide a work platform at the top for a stable area to stand, ideal for tasks which require an employee to work at height for an extended period of time. This model is both mobile thanks to it's spring-wheel chassis and foldable so that it can be stowed without taking up too much space. The wheeled chassis models have a lever to engage the wheels for moving, then to disengage the wheels so the feet then rest on the ground.
