    These low-profile pallet trucks conveniently provide 4-way access to all pallets, including the CHEP blue pallet with its lower sides. These trucks are designed for rigorous every-day use pushing and pulling pallets in a wide range of industries. They easily lift pallets with their tiller-pump and release trigger. Manufactured in Japan, these trucks are exceptionally smooth running and high-quality.

    What is a 4-way pallet truck?

It’s particularly useful in operations using CHEP or pooled pallets where space constraints and efficiency matter.

    Can it handle CHEP pallets?

    Yes. The OPK 4-way pallet truck is specifically designed to be CHEP pallet compatible, allowing operators to engage pallets from all four entry points where standard pallet trucks may struggle.

    What is the load capacity?

    The OPK model is built for heavy-duty warehouse use with a 2000kg load capacity, making it suitable for most palletised goods in manufacturing, logistics, and distribution environments.

    What fork sizes are available?

    The OPK 4-way pallet truck comes in multiple configurations to suit different pallet types: Fork span options: 520mm or 685mm Fork lengths: 980mm to 1220mm depending on model This allows compatibility with common NZ pallet formats.

    Does it require maintenance?

    Yes, but minimal. Routine checks typically include: Hydraulic oil level inspection (The pump oil should be changed once a year) Wheel and roller wear checks Occasional lubrication of moving joints General cleaning to prevent debris build-up The design includes features that support long service life with basic maintenance.

    Is it suitable for cold storage or washdown areas?

    The standard OPK model is not designed for aggressive washdown or freezer environments. For wet, corrosive, or hygiene-critical areas, a galvanised version is typically more suitable.

    Can it be used on uneven floors?

    For safe operation, avoid use on loose gravel, debris-covered, soft surfaces, or Wet or slippery floors where traction is compromised. Good floor conditions directly improve handling performance and operator safety.

    Can it be used on slopes

    The unit is intended for indoor, flat, and stable surfaces It is not designed for continuous slope operation. For frequent ramp use or steeper gradients, a powered pallet truck or forklift is recommended.
