Straddle pallet stackers are designed for lifting pallets that have bottom boards. Where a regular stacker's legs go under the pallet, lifting the forks would snap the bottom boards off as they catch on the legs. This straddle stacker has legs that go around the outside of the pallet to avoid this issue. This machine features both electrically-powered lifting and driving, removing all effort from the operator to move heavy loads. These machines have a photocell height sensor. When activated, the sensor raises and lowers the forks to keep the top of the load at an ergonomic height, allowing operators to load and unload a pallet directly on the forks.
